INSPIRATION: OREN PARKER

Oren Parker is an American photographer, who is mostly notably recognised for his work with music artists such as PRETTYMUCH and Maggie Lindemann. He primarily shoots candid images, therefore capturing a moment and emotion. But will distort the images through layers editing, which drastically changes the feel of the image. His style of photography is not commonly seen, this has reduced his social media presence and has shortened the possible widespread appeal. Oren is the photographer for PRETTYMUCH and therefore will gain popularity though association.

Why I take inspiration: Oren Parker is able to capture and distort a moment, this is personally very appealing to me and my love for abstract elements in life. His experimentation with editing is very inspiring, and done well. The techniques he uses are difficult to make work, but Oren has been able to create an image from this, which is what I want to do.
